STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR SUPPLY OF SERVICES OF Jambo Safaris Limited

RESERVATION: A deposit of 25% of the total cost is required at the time of booking
CANCELLATIONS The Customer may cancel an Order by notifying the Supplier in writing at the address above within 30 days of placing an Order and any deposit paid will be refunded in full. If the Customer fails to cancel the order within the time specified in Clause any deposit or monies paid may not be returnable.
BALANCE: The balance is due at least 60 days before the booked safari begins
RATES: All Safaris include expenses in respect of vehicle and driver as per itinerary. Meals and entrance fees to National parks and Game Reserves
TRANSPORTATION: Cars, Minibuses, Landrover trucks or coaches will be provided according to the route and numbers of clients. The right is reserved to employ the services of sub-contractors. English speaking drivers/guides will be provided
ACCOMMODATION: Based on two people sharing a twin room/tent. Single rooms are available at an additional cost but cannot be guaranteed. Hotels and lodges are named as an indication of category and rooms may be reserved at similar hotels/lodges.
ALTERATIONS TO TOURS: The company reserves the right to alter the arrangement or cancel the operation of a scheduled tour should conditions necessitate. It also reserves the right to decline to accept or retain any person/persons or a member of any tour at any time without redress as to cost. In normal circumstances a refund of the amount due for that particular safari will be made. However in exceptional circumstances, if the company deems it necessary, no monies will be refunded.
RISKS: Clients booking safaris should not that all expeditions involve and element of risk and at all times can be hazardous in nature. It is an inherent part of the contract that the customer accepts this risk when booking the safari. All clients are advised to take out separate insurance to cover them selves against such dangers. As the company cannot be held liable for any incident as under clause 7.1
EQUIPMENT: On mountain safaris no equipment is supplied and is not included in the tour price. This may be hired from Naro-Moru for Mount Kenya and Marangu Park for Mt. Kilimanjaro. (Full terms and conditions are available on request)
